I thought of David then I thought of Noah then I thought of David so clearly It was as if he was standing firmly right in front of me speaking these lines. It was jolting.
How precious those last two lines! "He doesn't need you to lift him up/He is under your feet. He carries you."
The best thing about these is they make me want to read the psalm and think through it more.
This is one of my most treasured Psalms. I'll carry these lines with me: "He keeps an unimaginable summer / That evil can’t blacken or break."
